OUR MINISTRIES
Children's Ministry
The Children’s Ministry Team leads our efforts to minister to the covenant children of Christ Church and to the children of our community. This team cares for the children of the church by helping to plan and oversee all areas of children’s ministry: Sunday school, Children’s Church, VBS, nursery care, and other special events.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry Team seeks to come alongside parents to minister to the next generation both at CCPCA and in our community. Ministry efforts include Sunday school, weekly youth meetings, Bible studies and other events outside of the regular schedule, such as annual retreats.
Men's Ministry
The Men’s Ministry Team seeks to build fellowship and community among the men in various ways by addressing the following question: Who are we called to be as men in the church? We have a monthly morning prayer gathering and a weekly men’s bible study.
Women's Ministry
The Women’s Ministry Team encourages women in our body to recognize their continual need for Christ and to delight in His redemptive work through Bible study and discipleship. The team plans fellowship activities and other events to foster relationships and a sense of community. The goal is to nurture women so they reflect God’s graciousness to the church body and to the community.
Music Team
The Music Ministry Team desires to bring praise and glory to God through song, discipling believers in the art of worship, and assisting the music team in order to lead the congregation in life-transforming worship so that we all might glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
Life Team
The Life team was born out of our core value of LOVE, which is manifested in caring for and valuing life. At CCPCA, we believe that means protecting both the unborn and the born who are unwanted, and ministering to widows and shut-ins. This team will consider ways to facilitate and encourage the ministry of adopting and fostering in our congregation so that we can promote life and love the marginalized and unwanted in the world around us.
Missions Team
The Missions Team supports the church in proclaiming the gospel so that the people in our community, our nation, and the world will come to know and love Christ. We seek to fulfill this mission by investing locally and globally in missionary partners, and by equipping our own congregation to live intentionally as missionaries in our own spheres of influence through relational outreach and evangelism.
Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team works to develop a culture of welcome and facilitates ways to invite the visitor, stranger, and neighbor into our lives here at CCPCA. This team oversees the greeters, creates a welcoming worship environment, coordinates in visitor follow up, new member classes, and any other fellowship that promotes a family-style atmosphere for the congregation and visitors alike.
